The BRC1-D Series AC Contactor is mainly used in circuits with AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated insulation voltage 690V, and rated operational current up to 95A at 380V under AC-3 utilization category. It is designed for remote making and breaking of circuits from a distance and can be combined with suitable thermal overload relays to form electromagnetic starters for protecting circuits that may experience operational overload. The contactor is particularly suitable for frequent starting and control of AC motors.
