Application Range

The RTG is a gantry crane that can travel in container yards for stacking operations. In normal operation mode, it is powered by mains electricity (via sliding contact line); during yard transfer, it is powered by a diesel generator set. It features three main operating mechanisms: hoisting, trolley travel, and gantry travel. The crane can perform hoisting and trolley operations individually or jointly under load, as well as gantry travel and trolley operations individually or jointly under load. The crane can travel in straight lines along normal tracks, with each wheel capable of rotating 90° in place for perpendicular travel during yard transfer. All operations and monitoring of the machine are realized through fully digital AC variable frequency drives, PLC, and CMS/RCMS, providing reliable and effective control functions. Due to its flexible yard transfer capability, it reduces the number of mobile machinery in the yard, thereby minimizing environmental pollution.
