Project Construction Scope: Includes experimental functional buildings such as the cell resource platform, biological sample bank, P2 laboratory, and Class 100,000 laboratory.

Project Positioning: Academician Laboratory. The project benchmarks against ATCC to build the largest national-scale authoritative cell resource center with international first-class standards, as well as an organization for formulating related standards. It provides biological resource support for the sustainable development of relevant scientific research and industries in China, countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the African Union, and other friendly countries and regional international organizations.
