A two-component epoxy zinc-rich primer composed of epoxy resin, cashew nut shell liquid curing agent, and zinc powder; it can also be customized with Type II low-lead zinc powder meeting ASTM D520 standard according to order requirements.
Main Performance
Excellent rust prevention function; provides cathodic protection for locally damaged areas; outstanding adhesion to blast-cleaned carbon steel surfaces; the paint features high solids and low viscosity, meeting environmental protection requirements.
Design Purpose
Can be used as a primer in combination with epoxy paints, vinyl paints, acrylic paints, etc., for blast-cleaned steel surfaces in moderate to severe corrosive environments, such as port machinery, offshore platforms, construction machinery, storage tanks and pipelines, power facilities, etc. It can be applied over approved retained zinc-rich shop primers; suitable for repair of damaged galvanized surfaces or zinc silicate primer coatings. For maintenance, cathodic protection and rust prevention can only be achieved when applied to surfaces prepared to bare steel.
