The NFC gas meter features both IC card and NFC payment functions. By utilizing NFC near-field communication technology to interact with mobile phones, the NFC gas meter forms a mobile internet-connected gas meter system. It enables functions such as close-range meter reading and online payment, while also maintaining compatibility with IC card functionality. This gas meter supports prepaid operation: users pay the gas fee to the management department, which writes the purchased gas amount into the IC card. The user then inputs the information from the IC card into the gas meter, which opens the valve to supply gas. During gas usage, the microcontroller in the gas meter automatically deducts the corresponding amount. Once the prepaid balance is exhausted, the gas meter automatically closes the valve to stop the gas supply. The user must repurchase gas to reopen the valve and resume supply.
