Product Overview:

Copper core copper sheath magnesium oxide insulated heavy-duty fire-resistant cable (also known as heavy-duty mineral insulated cable) is a new type of cable with seamless copper tube sheath on the outer layer, filled with magnesium oxide crystal powder as insulation material in the middle, and conductor composed of single-strand copper rod.

Main Features 

It has high temperature resistance, fire resistance, explosion-proof, non-combustible (can operate continuously for a long time at 250°C, and can also operate for 30 minutes in extreme conditions at 1000°C), large current-carrying capacity, small outer diameter, high mechanical strength, long service life, and generally does not require an independent grounding conductor.

Product Applications 

Good fire resistance is one of the superior characteristics of mineral insulated cables, so when selecting mineral insulated cables, people often associate them with fire resistance requirements and are accustomed to calling them "fire-resistant cables". In fact, its application range is very wide and can be used at sea, on land, indoors and outdoors, above and below ground; especially in historic buildings, super high-rise buildings, hotels, shopping malls, hospitals, airports, TV stations, communication hub projects, ships, theaters, ancient buildings, subways, civil air defense projects, crowded public places, and hazardous areas prone to fire (such as natural gas plants, chemical plants, refineries, offshore oil platforms), it is widely used. It can also be applied in places with high ambient temperatures, such as power plants and steel mills. For special environments such as electromagnetic interference resistance, animal bite resistance, waterproofing, as well as nuclear power plants and food processing plants with high sanitary requirements, it is also applied.
