The CK(X)52 series is a CNC double-column vertical (turning and) milling machine, with a machining range from 3.5 meters to 12.5 meters. It has the capability to turn spherical surfaces, cylinders, tapers, threads, faces, and internal/external ring grooves, and features constant surface speed cutting. It is suitable for high-speed steel, carbide, and ceramic tools, and can efficiently and automatically machine various ferrous metals and alloys, non-ferrous metals, and some non-metallic materials. The machine is widely used in the machining of large parts in industries such as aviation, heavy machinery, energy, shipbuilding, metallurgy, chemical engineering, and transportation. Optional accessories include a milling tool holder, disc-type tool magazine, various milling heads, copying devices, in-machine tool setters, workpiece measuring probes, and motorized spindle grinding heads.

- The main base components of the machine are made of high-quality cast iron and are heat-treated to eliminate internal stress. The structure adopts a thermally symmetric design, providing high thermal stability.
- The X and Z axes use closed-type constant-flow hydrostatic guideways with one oil chamber per pump, featuring a low friction coefficient, good vibration resistance, and long-term reliable positioning accuracy.
- The worktable is radially centered by high-precision double-row short cylindrical roller bearings and axially supported by constant-flow hydrostatic guideways, offering excellent lubrication and vibration absorption. A high-precision angular encoder is installed at the center of the worktable, enabling constant surface speed cutting, thread turning, and indexing (when the milling function is configured).
- The main drive of the worktable adopts a dual-motor drive structure. During turning, both motors drive synchronously to provide high torque; during indexing and milling, the two motors eliminate gear transmission backlash, ensuring high-precision indexing and milling rotation of the worktable.
- The machine can be configured with a turning tool holder, turning-milling composite tool holder, or single/double tool holders according to machining requirements.
- The CNC system is standardly equipped with the Huazhong CNC system, with Siemens and Fanuc CNC systems available as options.
