KYN61-40.5 Armored Removable AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear

Overview

KYN61-40.5(Z) armored removable AC metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as "switchgear") is suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz power systems. It is used in power distribution rooms of power plants, substations, and industrial and mining enterprises for receiving and distributing electrical energy, as well as for controlling, protecting, and monitoring circuits.

This product complies with the following standards: GB3906 "3~35kV AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear," GB/T11022 "Common Specifications for High-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Standards," and IEC60298 "AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear and Controlgear for Rated Voltages Above 1kV and Up to and Including 50kV."

Operating Conditions

1. Ambient air temperature: Maximum temperature +40℃; Minimum temperature -10℃;

2. Altitude: ≤ 1000m;

3. Ambient relative humidity: Daily average ≤95%, monthly average ≤90%;

4. Ambient air: Not suitable for locations with corrosion, severe contamination, combustible gases, or severe vibration;

5. In the event of an earthquake, the seismic intensity shall not exceed magnitude 8.

Structural Features

The switchgear structure is designed in accordance with the armored metal-enclosed switchgear standards in GB3906-2006 and IEC298. It consists of two main parts: the cabinet body and the removable part (handcart). The cabinet body is of assembled construction, bolted together and formed into shape. Metal partitions divide the interior of the switchgear into the circuit breaker compartment, main busbar compartment, cable compartment, and relay instrument compartment. The enclosure protection rating reaches IP3X, the protection rating between compartments is IP2X, and all metal structural components are reliably grounded. The compartments of the main circuit system are provided with independently exhausted pressure relief channels.

According to their application, handcarts can be classified as circuit breaker handcarts, voltage transformer handcarts, metering handcarts, isolation handcarts, etc. Handcarts of various types have the same external dimensions, and handcarts of the same application have good interchangeability. The handcart has a test/isolation position and a working position inside the cabinet. Interlocking devices are provided at each position to ensure that the handcart cannot be moved arbitrarily when in either of the above two positions.
