Consequently, KADIA develops high-quality metal-bonded diamond and CBN abrasive stones that give perfect honing results. We distinguish between three basic types: standard honing stones for fitting on stone carriers, honing stones with expanding profile ready for installation and special honing stones for specific honing applications. Special Honing stones Sintered rings or segments that are soldered e.g. to shell-type tools. Honing stones with central cutouts or partially inset grooves are also included in this type. They are ideal e.g. in bores with large interruptions and "problematic" stepped profiles and also in blind holes with extremely short overruns.
