The material is prov......The Porsche products are assembled in a model-mix in a continuously operated line production.The employees work stationary, i.e. the assembly buck, moves through the individual manufacturing stations. The material is provided just-in-time directly at the assembly line through an automated guided vehicle system (AGV). The production quantity of the top systems depends on the requirements of the customer.End-of-Line-Check (EOL): 100%-testing performed by non-contact measuring of all roof modules at the end of the assembly line Compilation of variations of forming and safety relevant components Functional testing, including compilation of relevant parameters (e.g. closing forces, backlit heating system) Approximately seven hours after receipt of order, the roof module is available at our customers assembly line.The hard tops are delivered as painted panels to Magna Car Top Systems.At Magna Car Top Systems, the rear windows will be glued in, the acoustic insulation will be installed, latches and seals assembled, as well as the installation of the interior panels and headliner.The top module will be ready for installation at the customer’s assembly line within 12 hours.
