The 665W series packer combines the sealing performance of a permanent packer with the advantages of a column-lifted packer. The packer can be directly connected to the production string or connected to an anchor seal device through threads, and is very suitable for large-diameter completions and multi-layer combination packer completions.

The packer does not require any mechanical operation on the production string. The packer is lowered to the required depth and a predetermined pressure is applied to shear the pins to set the packer. The bidirectional anchoring slip resists the forces from both the upper and lower directions to prevent the packer from moving upward.
