The 668W series packer has hydraulic anchors at the upper end and slips at the lower end, which can withstand bidirectional high pressure difference. It has the function of lifting and recovering the packer by pipe string, and one or more packers can be lowered into the well together, which is especially suitable for large-angle deviated wells or horizontal wells. The packer is widely used in various production enhancement measures such as single-layer fracturing, acidizing, and layered fracturing.

The packer does not require any mechanical operation on the production string. The packer is lowered to the required depth and a predetermined pressure is applied to shear the pins to set the packer. The bidirectional anchoring slip resists the forces from both the upper and lower directions to prevent the packer from moving upward.
