Nokia, together with partners including Numana, has successfully validated a quantum-safe network blueprint at Kirq, Canada's sole quantum security testbed, aiming to fortify critical infrastructure such as banks, hospitals, and governments against quantum computing threats. Conducted in February 2026, the test demonstrated a network architecture integrating multiple next-generation encryption technologies, providing a practical solution for nationwide deployment.

This validation process was independently conducted by NowQuantum, securing not only data in transit but also ensuring the real-time execution of business-critical applications. The team focused on upgrading existing complex networks without service disruption, reducing costs and operational risks.
