Wedoany.com Report on Mar 9th, Data from Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SecEx) shows that Brazil's steel coil exports are projected to increase from 4.109 million tons in 2025 to 7.942 million tons in 2026, representing a growth of 93%. This increase reflects rising global market demand for Brazilian steel coils.
Among the major exporters, Ternium plans to export 2.879 million tons at a price of $592 per ton; ArcelorMittal Pecem is expected to export 1.562 million tons at $482 per ton. Exports from other companies include 465,000 tons, 405,000 tons, 302,000 tons, 288,000 tons, and 75,000 tons, with corresponding prices of $517, $445, $465, $465, and $490 per ton, all on an FOB basis.
ArcelorMittal Tubarão is projected to export 929,000 tons at $552 per ton. Exports from other companies include 732,000 tons and 305,000 tons, priced at $477 and $499 per ton respectively, also on an FOB basis. The increase in Brazil's steel coil exports may be influenced by international steel trade dynamics, with the data based on SecEx forecasts.
