Wedoany.com Report on Mar 16th, The joint venture OneSubsea, supported by SLB, Aker Solutions, and Subsea7, recently signed an agreement to acquire the subsea business of Norway's Envirex Group, aiming to enhance its research, development, and innovation capabilities in the subsea technology field.

According to a report released by SLB on March 12, OneSubsea has reached an acquisition agreement, and Envirex Group's subsea business will be integrated into SLB OneSubsea. This move is designed to address the growing market demand for efficient and advanced subsea solutions. It is expected to accelerate the global application of new technologies and broaden the range of services offered to customers.

Mads Hjelmeland, CEO of SLB OneSubsea, stated: "This agreement represents the natural next step after more than a decade of collaboration. Once completed, the transaction will strengthen our technology portfolio and enhance the value we deliver to our customers."

The acquisition is subject to approval by relevant regulatory authorities and the fulfillment of other customary closing conditions, and is expected to be completed in the first half of this year. Shortly before the announcement of this acquisition, OneSubsea revealed it had signed its third contract within the past year with Thailand's national oil and gas company, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), for a deepwater project offshore Malaysia.
