Wedoany.com Report on Mar 16th, REMA TIP TOP recently promoted its REMATRACK CFX conveyor belt tracking system at Australian mine sites, aiming to address common issues of belt drift and misalignment during operation. Borrit Boshart, the company's Commercial Technology and Support Manager, stated that conveyor belt systems are prone to performance degradation after prolonged high-intensity use, leading to unplanned downtime and structural damage.
Boshart told Australian Mining magazine: "When a conveyor belt starts to drift, it cuts into the structure and causes damage. Early intervention is crucial to avoid subsequent problems." The REMATRACK CFX system features a dual-roller design and continuously corrects belt position through an automatic adjustment mechanism, making it suitable for mining applications with wide belts and high speeds.
The system has a compact design, with a height of only 300mm, making it suitable for installations in space-constrained environments. The CFX utilizes wear-resistant polyurethane liners and NSK bearing configurations to withstand harsh mining conditions. Boshart explained: "The CFX has a larger diameter in the central section. When the belt drifts, it contacts the smaller diameter area, which guides it back to the center position."
REMA TIP TOP provides end-to-end services from manufacturing to installation to ensure the effective operation of the conveyor belt tracking system. Boshart emphasized: "We control the entire supply chain and installation process. This integrated approach underpins our service philosophy." The company offers ongoing technical support to customers through its global branches, helping to reduce maintenance costs for mining equipment.
