Wedoany.com Report on Mar 17th, KBR (Houston) announced that it has been awarded a seven-year general maintenance services contract, with an optional three-year extension, from Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) for a petrochemical expansion complex in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. According to the agreement, KBR will provide comprehensive maintenance services, including preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance, aimed at enhancing the performance and reliability of the petrochemical complex.
Building on over a decade of collaboration with SATORP, KBR will leverage its expertise and experience to support commissioning and startup activities, with the goal of ensuring high availability and reliability from the project's outset, and delivering efficient plant performance while optimizing costs. Jay Ibrahim, President of KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions, stated: "We look forward to continuing to support SATORP in expanding its petrochemical complex, which is closely integrated with the existing refinery. Through this contract, KBR reinforces its commitment to driving in-country value and a culture of safety, while utilizing advanced analytics and digital technologies to lay the foundation for enhanced asset performance, aiming for operational excellence and sustainability."
