en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 21st, China's first 550 MW F-class gas turbine unit—Unit 1 of the Huadian Chongqing Tongnan Power Plant—successfully completed its 168-hour full-load trial run and is about to officially commence power generation. This marks a new breakthrough for China in the application of large-capacity, high-efficiency, and clean energy equipment.
The project can achieve islanded operation and rapidly restore power supply in the event of a sudden grid failure. Furthermore, each unit is equipped with two outgoing transmission lines; even if one line fails, the unit can still generate electricity stably at full load, significantly enhancing the reliability of power transmission and the capability to ensure energy supply.
