China's SPIC and Germany's BASF Hold Working Talks to Deepen Cooperation in Energy Sector

en.Wedoany.com Report, On March 20, Xu Shubiao, General Manager of China's State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), held talks with Matthias Dohrn, Global Head of Procurement at Germany's BASF Group, at the SPIC headquarters, exchanging views on further deepening cooperation in the energy sector.

Dohrn reviewed the progress of cooperative projects between the two parties, while Xu Shubiao introduced the relevant industries of SPIC. SPIC and BASF have consistently maintained a good cooperative relationship, with a solid foundation for collaboration and significant achievements in multiple areas including green electricity supply. In the future, building upon their existing strong cooperation, the two parties will adhere to the principle of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, continue to leverage their respective strengths, and further deepen practical cooperation in various fields such as green power trading, green hydrogen-based energy, and biomass fuels, jointly writing a new chapter of green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.

Senior Vice President of Global Procurement at BASF Group, Yang Sheng; heads of relevant teams from the Renewable Energy Company Asia Pacific and BASF Greater China; as well as responsible personnel from SPIC's Strategy and Development Department, Operations Department, Strategic Emerging Industries Department, International Department, Guangdong Company, and Guoneng Bioenergy (SPIC Bioenergy) participated in the talks.
