en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 25th, at its annual conference held in Orlando, Florida, USA, the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) presented the Silver Award in the Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards to packaging solutions provider Amcor, recognizing the innovative sustainability contributions of its Earth Sense Pro recycled-content stretch hand film.

Amcor's Earth Sense Pro film is a high-performance packaging material specifically designed for manual pallet wrapping applications, aiming to reduce environmental impact. This film incorporates 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content and 5% post-industrial recycled (PIR) content, helping to ensure secure and stable load containment during transportation and storage. Its design supports material reduction and plastic waste minimization, promoting a circular economy.
Phil Stolz, President of Amcor Flexibles Converting & Distribution, stated, "We are proud that the FPA recognizes our innovation in helping customers reduce their environmental footprint. This award reflects Amcor's commitment to advancing more sustainable packaging solutions across our entire portfolio." The film's lightweight construction provides load containment and toughness; the 28-gauge version performs comparably to or better than thicker films while reducing material consumption. Amcor notes that this design also enhances operator comfort and reduces waste.
