en.Wedoany.com Reported - GoldArc Resources has announced the second batch of reverse circulation (RC) grade control drilling results, which confirm high-grade veins at the Mt Stirling gold project in Western Australia, with grades and continuity sufficient to support the company's mine plan. Managing Director Paul Stephen said these results further advance the project towards production and cash flow, and confirm the veins possess the grade continuity required to establish a robust plan.
This drilling program comprised 38 holes totaling 1,005 meters, targeting the northwestern portion of the deposit. Significant intercepts include: Hole BMLRC281 intersected 3 meters at 6.00 g/t gold from 29 meters; Hole BMLRC283 intersected 3 meters at 5.13 g/t gold from 10 meters; Hole BMLRC285 intersected 3 meters at 3.87 g/t gold from 3 meters; Hole BMLRC291 intersected 3 meters at 6.89 g/t gold from 9 meters; and Hole BMLRC307 intersected 4 meters at 4.29 g/t gold from 33 meters.
Stephen noted that the current results only pertain to the upper 30-meter bench, and the deposit has significant vertical extension below the drilling depth. The grades and continuity confirmed at the surface enhance confidence in the deeper zones. The veins maintain their grade and width, which is conducive to optimization design prior to open-pit mining.
This grade control program, totaling 34,000 meters, is fully funded by BML Ventures under a 50/50 net profit sharing arrangement, with GoldArc retaining 100% ownership of Mt Stirling. Approximately 10,800 meters have been drilled to date, with two remaining assay batches pending receipt. Further information will be released progressively.
