en.Wedoany.com Reported - Paris-based startup Greenly has introduced a multi-agent AI architecture in the latest version 1.5 of its EcoPilot platform to help companies calculate Scope 3 carbon dioxide emissions at the supplier level. The platform no longer relies solely on industry averages updated once a year for compliance reporting, as such reports fail to enable Corporate Social Responsibility and supply chain teams to effectively address their carbon footprint. In the case of similar products, all suppliers were treated as having the same emissions.

Alexis Normand, CEO and co-founder of Greenly, stated: "To achieve real decarbonization, you must have real data. Without granular data, procurement departments cannot make trade-offs between suppliers to choose low-carbon options, and actual decarbonization remains just talk. With EcoPilot, our AI agents can create calculators for suppliers at scale. This is a major technological leap that finally allows us to accumulate comprehensive data across the entire value chain on the Greenly platform. Primary data becomes the driving force for decarbonization, and AI is the accelerator."
Two AI agents are now available in version 1.5: the Architect and the Scope 3 Scout. The former analyzes the organizational and informational context, automatically building a consistent carbon database from the initial stage; the latter automatically matches data to the correct emission factors, enriches information from upstream stakeholder documents, and guides them to generate their own carbon footprint reports. Two more AI agents are expected to launch in EcoPilot version 2.0. The "Environmental Engineer" AI agent will automatically generate life cycle assessments based on product descriptions, convert complex bills of materials into standardized models, and perform instant carbon impact simulations when materials or suppliers are changed. The "Strategist" AI agent can simulate decarbonization scenarios with associated financial impacts, autonomously generate compliance reports, and produce ready-to-use executive-level content to facilitate decision-making by executive committees.
