en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 24, Lancium and NVIDIA established a strategic partnership, with NVIDIA simultaneously making a strategic investment in Lancium. The two companies plan to deploy NVIDIA's full-stack AI infrastructure—covering accelerated computing, networking, and software systems—at Lancium's AI data center campuses.

Lancium currently has 4 GW of leased capacity and holds a land pipeline of over 15 GW in development-stage campuses with secured power conditions. These campuses are planned to serve as hosting nodes for NVIDIA customers, cloud service providers, and AI infrastructure developers to deploy large-scale computing clusters.

The two companies will adopt the NVIDIA DSX reference architecture in campus design and operations. Lancium plans to deploy DSX MaxLPS, which increases GPU configuration capacity by up to 40% within the same megawatt power budget; DSX Flex will be used to adjust AI computing facility power loads based on grid conditions, enabling data centers to participate in power supply-demand coordination.

Lancium's campus development is concentrated in Texas, USA. The Abilene campus has 1.2 GW of grid interconnection capacity approved by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas and is the first data center construction site for Stargate. The first two buildings at this campus have been energized, and a 900 MW data center is under construction on an adjacent plot.

Lancium and Crusoe are also advancing a 1 GW AI data center campus in Childress County, covering approximately 270 acres, with construction scheduled to begin in Q3 2026. The project will adopt a closed-loop, non-evaporative liquid cooling system and will be equipped with behind-the-meter solar PV and energy storage facilities. In Hall County, Lancium will provide power and civil infrastructure for the QTS campus, while QTS will be responsible for the design, construction, and operation of the data center buildings, with planned capital investment exceeding $10 billion.

Lancium is a Blackstone portfolio company. In October 2025, the company completed a $600 million debt financing, with initial proceeds allocated to the 1.2 GW Abilene campus and available to support subsequent data center project development.
