en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Atos Group and Microsoft Corp. have announced a significant expansion of their strategic partnership to deploy secure agentic AI at scale across Atos' workforce and customer ecosystem. Atos is rolling out Microsoft 365 Copilot to all 56,000 employees across 54 countries, enabling every employee—from consultants and engineers to frontline workers—to leverage agentic AI. This deployment is based on Microsoft 365 Copilot E7, which integrates Microsoft 365 E5, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Agent 365 into a unified solution powered by Work IQ, complemented by Microsoft Entra Suite and advanced Defender, Intune, and Purview security features.

With this deployment, Atos becomes the first French global systems integrator to deploy Microsoft 365 Copilot, one of the first France-based companies to adopt Microsoft 365 E7, and one of the earliest adopters worldwide to operate fully on the platform from its general availability. Atos is deploying Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry to design, build, and operate agents for Atos IT, Atos business units, and Atos customers, integrating these efforts into a unified, coherent operating model. These capabilities will serve as technical components of Atos' Sovereign Agentic AI Studios, designed to bring AI securely into the production environments of various organizations.

Jared Spataro, Chief Marketing Officer for AI at Work at Microsoft, stated that a new era of work has arrived, where the most ambitious companies are not just adopting AI but redesigning work from the ground up around it, and Atos is doing exactly that. By empowering employees with AI, Atos is unlocking new levels of speed, quality, and innovation for its customers.

Through the expanded partnership, Atos and Microsoft will provide Microsoft 365 Copilot to all 56,000 Atos employees globally, embedding AI directly into the Microsoft 365 applications they use daily, such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. The two companies will also use Microsoft 365 E7 as the foundational platform, integrating Microsoft 365 Copilot, security and compliance features, and Microsoft Agent 365—Microsoft's control plane for observing, governing, and protecting AI agents across the enterprise. Additionally, end-to-end agent governance via Microsoft Agent 365 enables Atos to manage its rapidly growing portfolio of 19,000 AI agents through a single solution, covering agents acting on behalf of users, agents running with their own credentials, and agents from the Atos ecosystem, while leveraging existing management and security workflows from Atos IT and security teams.

Frédéric Aubrière, Chief Digital and Information Officer of the Atos Group, stated that this is the most significant technology investment Atos has made in its workforce in a generation and a direct reflection of its AI strategy. Equipping every Atos and Eviden employee across the value chain with a personal AI assistant will transform the possibilities for serving customers. This is not a pilot but a company-wide deployment, as the company believes agentic AI will define the next decade of professional services and wants its employees to lead that future, not follow it.

Atos is one of the first France-based companies to adopt the Microsoft Frontier Suite, with an architecture choice that unifies identity, security, compliance, and agent governance into a single enterprise control plane, integrating Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender with Intune, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Agent 365. For a company operating in 54 countries across highly regulated industries such as defense, financial services, healthcare, and public administration, this integration makes large-scale, secure company-wide AI deployment feasible and sustainable.

This move is a core part of the Atos Group's commitment to accelerating AI transformation internally and for its customers. The Atos Group's strategy is built on three closely interconnected pillars: mission-critical agentic AI, designed for the most regulated and sensitive domains; digital sovereignty, allowing customers to maintain control, authority, and responsibility over their digital assets; and cybersecurity, providing end-to-end security across the entire digital chain. Atos believes agentic AI will define the next era of enterprise services and is pleased to partner with Microsoft, as the challenge for enterprises today lies in execution. Atos has already begun working with customers to deploy agentic AI at scale in complex environments. By first transforming its own operating model and acting as "Client Zero," Atos is industrializing agentic AI into a governed, production-ready capability and delivering tangible value.

The Atos Group is a global leader in digital transformation, with approximately 56,000 employees, annual revenue of around €7.2 billion, and operations in 54 countries under two brands—Atos for services and Eviden for products and systems. As Europe's number one cybersecurity company and a leader in cloud, Atos is committed to creating a secure and decarbonized future, delivering AI-driven, customized end-to-end solutions for all industries.

Microsoft (Nasdaq "MSFT" @microsoft) creates AI-powered platforms and tools to deliver innovative solutions that meet customers' evolving needs.
