ISO/IEC 42001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, reviewing, and continuously improving a management system for organizations developing, supplying, and utilizing artificial intelligence systems. The standard was developed by ISO in 2023 and adopted as a Korean national standard in 2025. Currently, the trend of organizations, including public institutions, adopting this standard and obtaining certification is expanding.

The Korea Management Certification Institute (KMR) provides comprehensive knowledge services including ISO-based certification, ESG management evaluation, and education. In line with the government's AI transformation policy and industry activation initiatives, the institute is hosting this seminar to support organizations in systematically applying artificial intelligence.
