en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hot Chili has once again encountered a broad mineralized interval at the La Verde porphyry copper-gold deposit in the Atacama region of coastal Chile, with one diamond drill hole intersecting 391.1 meters from surface grading 0.51% copper equivalent. This interval includes 0.42% copper and 0.11 g/t gold, demonstrating strong continuity of shallow high-grade copper-gold mineralization.

Hot Chili (ASX: HCH) stated that this result supports its plan to develop a high-grade initial open pit within the larger Costa Fuego copper-gold project. The La Verde deposit is located approximately 30 kilometers south of the planned central processing hub at Costa Fuego.

Hot Chili drilled hole DKD044 on the western side of the high-grade core zone at La Verde to verify the continuity of mineralization reported in previous drilling. The 391.1-meter intercept from surface includes a 17.8-meter section grading 0.68% copper equivalent, a 40.7-meter section from 103.3 meters grading 0.60%, and an 85.4-meter section from 160 meters grading 0.61%. It also includes a high-grade interval of 19.7 meters from 276.1 meters grading 0.70% copper equivalent. Assay results for hole DKD044 have been returned to a depth of 493.7 meters, with results for the final depth of 711.4 meters still pending.

The hole is also located approximately 150 meters west of the expanded diamond drill hole DKD049, whose visual logging indicates a 180-meter-thick zone of strong chalcopyrite-enriched porphyry copper mineralization starting at 536.7 meters. Hot Chili stated that drilling suggests potential to widen the high-grade core zone between DKD044 and DKD049, with assay results for DKD049 expected to be released in the coming weeks.

Overall, assay results for 22 drill holes remain pending, including six diamond drill holes and 16 reverse circulation holes. These include results for holes DKD049, DKP052, DKP053, and DKP054, which Hot Chili expects will confirm further extensions of the high-grade core zone at La Verde. Hot Chili has engaged a second regional accredited laboratory to accelerate turnaround times, as delivery times in some cases have extended to ten weeks. Three drill rigs are currently operating at La Verde. Hot Chili expects to provide continuous updates ahead of the maiden mineral resource estimate for La Verde and the revised pre-feasibility study for Costa Fuego.
