The project has a total investment of approximately 835 million yuan and plans to build a 100,000-ton intelligent cathode copper electrolysis production line. Upon full operation, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of high-purity cathode copper, effectively expanding the supply scale of electrolytic copper in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Anhui Youjin Guanhua New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., located in the Western Park (Niutoushan Town) of Chizhou High-tech Zone, was established in August 2017. It is a high-tech, new material non-ferrous metal smelting enterprise focused on the high-value utilization of new energy technology metals and new material precious metals. In 2024, the company produced and sold 130,800 tons of anode copper, achieving main business revenue of 10.208 billion yuan, surpassing the 10 billion yuan mark for the first time. It has been listed among Anhui Province's Top 100 Enterprises for six consecutive years and among the province's Top 50 Manufacturing Enterprises for three consecutive years. The company has built a "Zero-Carbon Factory" from "incoming materials to outgoing products" and is a "hidden champion" in the domestic market segment of smelting anode copper from ore.
This project is invested, constructed, and operated by Anhui ChunJun New Materials Co., Ltd. According to the original plan, the project entered the process commissioning phase in January 2026 and began trial production with material feeding in March. During the construction period, the main structure was topped out by the end of 2025, followed by the installation of electrolytic cells and internal structural construction. After several months of commissioning and trial production, the project finally achieved stable copper output on June 26. Currently, the project's monthly cathode copper production capacity can reach 10,000 tons.
Chizhou High-tech Zone is an important new material industry cluster in Anhui Province. The commissioning of this 100,000-ton intelligent electrolytic cathode copper project is a key step for Youjin Guanhua to extend from anode copper production to deep processing of cathode copper, marking a substantial move in the company's layout of the entire industrial chain from "smelting anode copper from ore" to "copper-based new materials."
