en.Wedoany.com Reported - US-based technology services company Everforth has expanded its operations in India, citing the country's rapidly growing Global Capability Center (GCC) ecosystem and increasing demand for AI-led digital engineering services as key growth drivers. Formerly known as ASGN, the company rebranded to Everforth this year and appointed Sangita Singh as President of India and International Operations in February to drive the expansion of offshore delivery and digital engineering capabilities.

Everforth President Shiv Iyer stated that clients are increasingly relying on India for their technology needs, spanning advanced engineering, innovation, and application maintenance at the lower end of the software development lifecycle, making India a multi-purpose destination for the company. Iyer noted that the company's Fortune 500 clients in the US not only seek services from India but also want help transforming parts of their Indian operations into powerful hubs for innovation and AI, rather than cost-arbitrage entities.

The company completed the $290 million acquisition of Chicago-based digital services firm Quinnox in March this year. Iyer said the acquisition immediately brought approximately 1,500 to 2,000 engineers to the company in India, who provide advanced application modernization and digital engineering integration services to enterprise-level Fortune 500 clients. Iyer pointed out that from an AI-first perspective, the rapid growth of India's GCCs represents another dimension.

Iyer stated that AI is changing the relationship between headcount growth and revenue. In the past, companies typically needed to increase headcount by at least 10% to achieve 7% revenue growth; with AI, revenue can grow with a much smaller increase in headcount. Everforth, unencumbered by legacy operations, now views clients' mature GCCs as a key growth lever. As the company expands its international business, India becomes a natural choice due to its vast market and deep pool of technical talent. Iyer added that the opportunity in India aligns closely with the strategic evolution reflected in Everforth's rebranding, a change particularly evident in India, where technology investments are increasingly evaluated from the perspectives of productivity, operational efficiency, and business impact.
