en.Wedoany.com Reported - Russian forest industry group Sveza has launched a new veneer jointing line at its Manturovo plant, with a project investment of 62 million rubles. The equipment is equipped with modern automation and digital control systems, designed to enhance the stability of production operations and support product quality assurance.
As part of the planned production equipment upgrade at the Manturovo plant, this veneer jointing line replaces the previous production line. The machine operates in automatic mode, with the system autonomously controlling key stages of material handling, detecting defects, determining veneer parameters, preparing blanks, and forming sheets of specified dimensions. Process automation ensures a stable technical cycle, reduces the impact of human factors, improves equipment operational reliability, and minimizes the risk of unplanned downtime.
Nikita Terekhanov, Director of the Manturovo plant, stated that replacing the veneer jointing line is part of the plant's planned equipment renewal program, with a project investment of 62 million rubles. The gradual renewal of key production areas is aimed at maintaining stable enterprise operations, ensuring product continuity, and guaranteeing high quality. These projects lay the foundation for future development.
The production line upgrade is part of the company's systematic efforts to develop automation and improve production efficiency. Sveza has introduced digital quality control tools, machine vision-based solutions, and proprietary engineering developments at its enterprises to enhance equipment reliability and production stability.
