en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 2, at the 2026 Global Digital Economy Conference, Beijing-based Xiaoyu Zhizao Technology Co., Ltd. released the "Xiaoyu Future Robot," an embodied intelligent welding robot for industrial scenarios, with a standard version starting price of 169,800 yuan. The product is supported by three underlying technologies: the Xiaoyu Runwu World Model, the Xiaoyu Xirang Hardware Platform, and the positioning pen. It has already been deployed in over ten frontline factories, covering application scenarios such as building steel structures and ship manufacturing.
The "Xiaoyu Future Robot" targets non-standard operations in welding sites. Scenarios such as building steel structures and ship manufacturing often involve large workpiece sizes, significant batch variations, noticeable changes in weld seam positions, and inconsistent fixture conditions on site. Traditional welding robots rely on fixed trajectories and preset programs, making them suitable for stable production lines but facing issues like long teaching cycles, frequent adjustments, and high changeover costs in large components and complex workstations. The Xiaoyu Runwu World Model handles environmental understanding and action reasoning, integrating multimodal data from real industrial scenarios to infer weld seam positions, workpiece postures, workspace, and welding actions. This allows the robot to determine paths, postures, and constraints before execution. For welding processes, such capabilities affect arc starting positions, welding torch angles, travel trajectories, obstacle avoidance actions, and welding stability, as well as subsequent rework rates, cycle times, and on-site operator workload.
The positioning pen is designed to be more practical for factory environments. Workers can use it to assist the robot in identifying welding positions and operational boundaries, reducing the need for complex programming and lengthy teaching. For small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises lacking robot programming personnel, this design lowers the barrier to equipment adoption.
The Xiaoyu Xirang Hardware Platform handles the robot's underlying execution capabilities. Welding robots require coordinated operation of robotic arms, welding torches, power supplies, sensors, controllers, and safety systems; instability in any component can affect weld seam quality. This platform unifies underlying interfaces and communication protocols, enabling action plans generated by the world model to be executed on actual hardware and providing a foundation for sharing intelligent capabilities across different robot forms. Xiaoyu Zhizao noted that the platform can support various forms such as robotic arms, quadruped robots, and humanoid robots in the future, indicating that its technical approach is not limited to a single welding station but aims to create a transferable underlying system for perception, decision-making, and execution in industrial scenarios.
The standard version's starting price of 169,800 yuan also gives this product a clearer focus on factory procurement. Welding positions have long faced challenges such as high labor intensity, complex fume environments, a shortage of skilled workers, and pressure for process consistency. If an embodied intelligent welding robot can be quickly deployed in scenarios involving non-standard parts, small batches, and multiple workstations, it has the potential to enter more steel structure factories, shipyards, equipment manufacturing plants, and engineering component processing sites. Whether the equipment will be continuously procured ultimately depends on weld seam formation quality, adjustment time, on-site maintenance costs, consumable compatibility, and integration with existing production lines.
Currently, the "Xiaoyu Future Robot" has been deployed in over ten frontline factories. For industrial robot products, entering real factories means facing conditions such as fumes, reflections, obstructions, thermal deformation, human-robot collaboration, and continuous operation pressure. These conditions directly test the practicality of the world model, hardware platform, and positioning pen. Xiaoyu Zhizao's latest product integrates embodied intelligence, industrial welding, and low-barrier deployment into a single system, with application targets focused on high-intensity welding sectors such as building steel structures and ship manufacturing.
