en.Wedoany.com Reported - Solar inverter manufacturer SolarEdge Technologies has launched its Nexis residential solar and energy storage platform in the United States. Initially released in Germany in March of this year, the platform has already been deployed in over 2,000 solar-plus-energy storage systems.

Nexis is a modular system that integrates SolarEdge's residential energy storage, inverters, and management software, designed for operation in limited spaces. SolarEdge compares Nexis to Lego bricks, as each component can be directly snapped into place for installation.

Nexis is compatible with SolarEdge's string inverters and microinverters. The system can work in conjunction with photovoltaic systems, delivering up to 13 kW of power in grid-tied mode and up to 14.5 kW in off-grid mode. Its energy storage capacity ranges from 5 kWh to 80 kWh.

Nick Alex, Vice President of Residential Sales for SolarEdge in North America, stated that Nexis incorporates years of innovation and customer feedback, aiming to make solar-plus-storage systems more powerful, intuitive, and easier to deploy. The company says the system is designed to simplify the installation process, maximize flexibility, and meet the evolving energy needs of modern homes.

To commemorate Nexis's entry into the U.S. market, SolarEdge will host a public live-streaming event on July 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time, featuring a raffle that includes Nexis technology products.
