The Bodaibo District administration disclosed this data to NEDRADV, noting that the district currently accounts for the majority of gold production in Irkutsk Oblast.

The production growth was primarily driven by increased mining from primary deposits. During these six months, subsurface users extracted 8.761 tons of precious metals from ore, up 28% year-on-year. The main growth driver was the "Svetlovsky" processing plant (ГОК «Светловский»), operated by "Vysochaishy" (Высочайший), which was launched at the Svetlovsky deposit in September 2025, produced its first ton of gold in February this year, and plans to process 3.5 million tons of ore by year-end.

Enterprises operating at placer gold deposits mined 1.55 tons of gold, a decrease of 3.6% compared to the same period in 2025.

Subsurface users in the Bodaibo District extracted a total of 21.276 tons of gold in 2025, including 7.162 tons from placers (up 2.5% year-on-year) and 14.114 tons from primary deposits (up 16.8% year-on-year). The district's major hard-rock gold mining enterprises include Public Joint-Stock Company "Polyus" (ПАО «Полюс», at the Sukhoi Log deposit), Joint-Stock Company "Vysochaishy" (АО «Высочайший», at Golets Vysochaishy and Ugakhan), and Limited Liability Company "Druza" (ООО «Друза», at Nevskoye). Over 20 enterprises operate at placer gold deposits, with the largest including Joint-Stock Company Gold Mining Company "Lenzoloto" (АО ЗДК «Лензолото»), Joint-Stock Company "Vitim" Gold Mining Team (АО АС «Витим»), Joint-Stock Company "Retkon" Geological Exploration Enterprise (АО ГПП «Реткон»), Limited Liability Company "Lena" Gold Mining Team (ООО АС «Лена»), and Limited Liability Company "Ugakhan" (ООО «Угахан»).
