en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Private Investment Promotion Agency (ProInversión) has launched the Initial Education Service Improvement Project for Kindergarten No. 1630 "Estrellitas de Amor y Mar" (Little Stars of Love and Sea) in the Salaverry District, Trujillo Province, La Libertad Region, which will directly benefit 125 preschool children.

The total investment for the project is S/5,239,140, fully funded by the Salaverry Multipurpose Port Social Fund Association (Asociación Fondo Social Terminal Portuario Multipropósito de Salaverry), reflecting the fund's commitment to strengthening education, early childhood development, and regional sustainable development. In addition to children, teachers, administrative staff, parents, and the entire educational community will also benefit.

Kindergarten No. 1630 "Estrellitas de Amor y Mar" (Little Stars of Love and Sea), with over 50 years of history, has been a key part of multi-generational children's education in the Salaverry District. Due to increasing student numbers and aging infrastructure, a comprehensive renovation has become necessary to create a safe, modern, and suitable learning environment.

The project will improve the quality of early childhood education spaces, a critical stage for children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. The new infrastructure will provide better conditions for children to learn, play, receive care, and develop skills in a dignified, inclusive, and safe environment.

The Salaverry Multipurpose Port, awarded by ProInversión under a public-private partnership model, includes a social fund mechanism as part of its structure, used to finance and execute investment projects that improve the quality of life for residents of the Salaverry District. The project is planned to be completed within 180 calendar days, building modern, functional, and inclusive infrastructure.

The first floor will feature six kindergarten classrooms, a psychomotor room, a medical office, a psychology room, a kitchen, a dining room, an educational ecological garden, student restrooms, and accessible restrooms. The second floor will house administrative and teaching support spaces, including a principal's office, a secretary's office, a teachers' office, a multipurpose hall, and restrooms.

The project also includes complementary areas for child development and play, such as a play courtyard, children's play equipment, a shelter, and perimeter walls, aimed at enhancing safety and coexistence conditions on campus.
