This adjustment follows Oi TV's announcement from the previous week regarding updates to its channel list. The company stated that this service takes effect automatically, allowing users to receive local Globo programming free of charge, regardless of their previous city or subscribed package, with no additional fees.

In Londrina, northern Paraná, users can now tune to channel 03 to watch RPC Londrina, Globo's local affiliate. This channel will broadcast local news and programs tailored specifically for viewers in the region. In São Paulo state, users in Greater São Paulo can watch TV Globo SP on channel 05; those in Greater Campinas can receive EPTV Campinas on channel 12; and users in São José dos Campos can watch TV Vanguarda São José on channel 17. These three stations are all affiliates of Globo, replacing the previous situation where only national signals were broadcast in these areas.

Oi TV's expansion of Globo signals brings it closer to the current practice of Brazilian free-to-air television, which provides local content through regional affiliates. Some users can now directly access local programming through Oi TV's channel lineup without relying on additional terrestrial antennas.
