en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) held its first official engagement with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, with both sides focusing discussions on digital transformation, artificial intelligence governance, and cross-border digital cooperation. The meeting was held between Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden and DCO Secretary-General Deemah AlYahya.
AlYahya described Luxembourg's digital transformation model as a benchmark for human-centric technology application. Luxembourg has drawn attention for its advanced digital government ecosystem, with 97% of its government services available online, full digitalization of public services for businesses, and a perfect score for mobile-friendly digital public services. The country ranks among the top in Europe for digital government performance.
The discussions revolved around Luxembourg's broader digital strategy, including its Tier IV data center infrastructure and its selection as one of the EU's first hosts for an Artificial Intelligence Factory (AI Factory) through the MeluXina-AI supercomputer project. Both sides explored potential areas of cooperation, covering AI governance frameworks, secure and trusted cross-border data flows, computing infrastructure collaboration, and broader knowledge exchange between digital ecosystems.
According to the DCO, this engagement marks a significant step toward establishing a strategic partnership aimed at promoting inclusive and sustainable digital transformation across regions.
