From January to June this year, Brazil exported a total of 794,200 tons of pork (including fresh and processed products), a 10% increase compared to 722,000 tons in the same period of 2025. Export revenue during the same period reached $1.859 billion, up 7.9% from $1.723 billion in the same period last year.

Looking at June alone, Brazil exported 132,400 tons of pork, a 3.5% decrease from 137,200 tons in June 2025; monthly revenue was $312.8 million, down 8.4% from $341.7 million in June last year. ABPA described the June decline in a statement as an "occasional adjustment compared to the same period last year."

Among the main export destinations in June, the Philippines remained in first place, but export volume was 23,500 tons, a 30.4% decrease from the same period in 2025. It was followed by Japan (17,200 tons), Chile (11,700 tons), and China (11,400 tons). Other destinations in the top ten included Hong Kong, Mexico, Singapore, Argentina, Vietnam, and Uruguay.

Among exporting states, Santa Catarina led in June with 65,200 tons exported, followed by Rio Grande do Sul (31,400 tons), Paraná (20,700 tons), Minas Gerais (4,100 tons), and Mato Grosso (4,000 tons). Compared to the same period in 2025, June exports from Santa Catarina fell by 6.9%, and from Rio Grande do Sul by 4.7%; while Paraná, Minas Gerais, and Mato Grosso saw increases of 3.2%, 26.3%, and 23.3%, respectively.

ABPA President Ricardo Santin stated that the industry is expanding its international presence through an increasingly diversified strategy, reducing dependence on specific markets and strengthening its position in high-value-added destinations. The cumulative performance has reinforced expectations for another historic year for Brazil's pig farming industry.
