Qatar Ports Handle Over 493,000 TEUs in First Half of 2026

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Qatar Ports Management Company (Mwani Qatar) handled a total of 493,105 TEUs and 273,325 tons of general cargo at Hamad Port, Doha Old Port, and Al Ruwais Port in the first half of 2026. During the same period, these three ports also processed 324,512 tons of bulk cargo, 24,652 RoRo units, and 112,492 heads of livestock, while receiving 866 vessel calls.

June data shows that the ports handled over 78,000 TEUs during the month, a 13% increase compared to May. Mwani Qatar received 121 vessels in June, up 21% month-on-month. General cargo volume approached 23,000 tons, while bulk cargo exceeded 67,000 tons, a 40% increase from the previous month.

Mwani Qatar continues to invest in port infrastructure and operational efficiency to strengthen Qatar's position as a regional trade and logistics hub.
