China's Andecom Joint Venture Breaks Ground on High-Purity Precursor and Electronic-Grade Solvent Project, Completion Set for 2027

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 3, the high-purity precursor and electronic-grade solvent project of Ande Tuohua (Anhui) Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. officially broke ground. The project is jointly invested and constructed by Andecom, a leading domestic semiconductor precursor industry enterprise, and a major global semiconductor materials company. It covers an area of nearly 100 mu and is expected to be completed by 2027. Upon completion, it will form an intelligent production line integrating precursor and electronic-grade solvent synthesis, precision purification, finished product packaging, and supporting electronic solvents.

Andecom is one of the few national-level specialized and new "Little Giant" enterprises in China that has achieved independent research and development and stable mass production of a full range of precursor materials, firmly ranking in the first tier of the domestic precursor industry. The company has built a complete precursor product matrix, including silicon-based, high-dielectric-constant hafnium-zirconium series, and rare metal ruthenium-molybdenum series, and has independently overcome a set of processes such as ultra-high-purity synthesis, precision purification, and stable delivery. The enterprise holds over a hundred independent intellectual property rights, participates in the formulation of multiple national and industry standards, and several high-end precursors suitable for advanced processes have passed certification by leading domestic wafer fabs and are supplied in bulk, breaking the long-term monopoly of overseas products.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Andecom Chairman Wang Qiongyu stated that the establishment of this joint venture factory is a significant milestone for Andecom's transition from a domestic industry leader to a global player. Over the past eight years, the company has taken root in Hefei, using independent technology to support the self-reliance and security of domestic chip materials. In the future, this cooperation will serve as a leverage point to complement and integrate advantageous resources, on one hand continuing to serve the rapid development of the domestic integrated circuit industry, and on the other hand promoting China's advanced electronic materials technology and products to the global market, accelerating its growth into an emerging force in the semiconductor materials field with global influence.

Semiconductor ALD/CVD high-purity precursors are the core raw materials for atomic-level thin film deposition in chips and are indispensable basic consumables for advanced logic, memory, and advanced packaging production lines, often referred to as the "functional film substrate" of chip manufacturing. Currently, the global supply of high-end precursors is dominated by overseas companies, and there is a significant gap in the domestic supply of high-end precursors in China. With the continuous expansion of domestic memory, logic, and AI computing chip production lines, the demand for large-scale, high-end local precursor supply is rising.
