Logistics companies including J&T Express, SF City, SXJD, Hive Box, and Yimidida have been onboarded as the first batch of ecosystem partners, integrating into the Alipay AI ecosystem.
This platform represents another key step in Alipay's AI strategy, following the release of its full-stack AI payment products in May 2026 and the launch of the AI-powered Alipay assistant "Abao" in June. The platform integrates Ant Group's proprietary large model capabilities, covering high-frequency enterprise AI application scenarios such as intelligent customer service, marketing copy generation, business data analysis, and code assistance. It adopts a three-layer architecture of "model capabilities—industry solutions—open ecosystem," opening AI access capabilities to ecosystem partners including merchants, institutions, service providers, smart terminals, and large model platforms.
After upgrading their services through AI on the platform, merchants can not only connect to Alipay's AI assistant "Abao" to provide intelligent services to 1 billion users, but also authorize smart terminals such as phones, car systems, AI glasses, and IoT devices, as well as large model platforms, to invoke services, achieving "one-time access, multi-channel distribution, and unified management." The first batch of onboarded ecosystems covers multiple high-frequency scenarios including dining, travel, cultural tourism, and lifestyle services. Brands and institutions such as KFC, Mixue Bingcheng, Luckin Coffee, Gaode Taxi, Didi, and Wansuishan Wuxia City have all been onboarded in the first batch.
In the logistics sector, after J&T Express was onboarded, users can directly request services like "Check my package" or "I want to send a package" in the AI-powered Alipay assistant "Abao," which will trigger a service card to complete package tracking and shipping through J&T Express. As one of the first batch of ecosystem partners, SF City allows users to place orders for intra-city express delivery through natural conversation. Additionally, STO Express, ZTO Express, and FlashEx have also been simultaneously integrated into the Alipay AI ecosystem.
Alipay stated that the platform will continue to lower the barrier for merchants to adopt AI services and support the integration of more smart terminals and service scenarios. The launch of this AI Open Platform marks Alipay's transformation from a payment tool to an "AI + Commerce" infrastructure platform.
