en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dell has localized production of the Dell Pro Max 16 Plus laptop in Brazil and launched the compact platform Pro Max GB10 for AI development scenarios.

This model, designed for professional engineering, content creation, and artificial intelligence applications, has now joined the Brazil-made product portfolio. The Dell Pro Max 16 Plus is equipped with Intel Core Ultra 2nd generation processors and NVIDIA RTX PRO professional graphics cards, suitable for 3D modeling, simulation, graphics processing, and AI-related workloads. The device also holds ISV certification, verifying performance on professional software from companies such as Adobe, Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes, and Avid.
Rafael Pacheco, Dell's Director of Products for Latin America, stated that localized production will shorten delivery times and expand the availability of the device in the Brazilian market.

At the launch event, Dell also highlighted the Pro Max GB10, a compact platform designed for AI model development, fine-tuning, and local inference.

This device uses the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell superchip, equipped with 128 GB of unified memory, and delivers processing capability of up to 1 petaflop (1,000 TFLOPS) at FP4 precision. According to the manufacturer, it supports models with up to 200 billion parameters and runs NVIDIA DGX OS, allowing locally developed models to be subsequently deployed in data center environments compatible with the DGX architecture.

Gustavo Souza, Dell's Sales Director, stated that the device is designed to allow AI projects to be developed locally before scaling to larger infrastructure. He mentioned that the intended uses for the platform include software development, research, model training, and computer vision applications.
Dell executives stated that the company's strategy plans for a combined use of local infrastructure and cloud services, deployed in a hybrid manner and tailored to application characteristics. Rafael Pacheco noted that the choice between local and cloud processing depends on factors such as cost, latency, processing volume, and operational requirements.
The Dell Pro Max 16 Plus is now available in Brazil, with a starting price of 29,498 Brazilian reais. The Pro Max GB10 has also entered the Brazilian market, currently still as an imported product, priced at approximately 60,000 Brazilian reais, with a delivery time of about two months.
