en.Wedoany.com Reported - SCC, Europe's largest private technology provider, has launched the five-year "Project Sirius" (Proyecto Sirius), an investment plan estimated between £50 million and £100 million, aimed at accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence in the public and private sectors, helping businesses transform operations and maximize the value of AI.

SCC launches Project Sirius, an AI investment plan of up to £100 million

The plan revolves around five strategic areas that the company believes are being redefined by AI, including AI solutions, dedicated AI infrastructure, AI-driven cybersecurity, intelligent work environments, and AI-based hyperscale markets.

While strengthening its technology offerings, SCC plans to integrate AI into key internal processes such as human resources and finance to enhance productivity across critical business functions.

As part of the plan, the company will recruit 100 AI specialists to join teams in the UK, France, Spain, and the Middle East. It also plans to open two Advanced Technology Centers (ATCs) in Birmingham and Paris by the end of the year, spaces where clients can design use cases, test emerging technologies, and accelerate the implementation of AI-based projects.

The launch of Project Sirius comes at a time when organizations are looking to harness AI's potential to drive growth but face challenges such as data sovereignty, security, and generating tangible returns. SCC notes that many companies have adopted tools based on language models but still struggle to turn these initiatives into sustainable competitive advantages.

The strategy strengthens SCC's evolution toward a customer-value-centric model. With over five decades of industry experience, the company aims to solidify its position as a European technology partner and accelerate the deployment of AI solutions that deliver real business impact.

To support this new phase, SCC has strengthened its management team by appointing Russell Brown as CEO of SCC UK, Bart Van de Ven as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Berenice Chassagne as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Additionally, Daniel Valle has been appointed CEO of SCC Middle East, tasked with driving the company's regional expansion and opening a new office in the United Arab Emirates.

SCC Group CEO Robert Vassoyan stated that organizations need technology investments that deliver measurable results, and Project Sirius will help the company expand its ability to provide advanced AI solutions that bring efficiency, security, and business value. He also emphasized the importance of technological sovereignty and SCC's role as a European provider in offering a secure foundation for innovation. SCC Chairman James Rigby noted that the initiative is a decisive step in the company's strategy to simplify the adoption of complex technologies and strengthen both internal capabilities and AI offerings for clients.
