en.Wedoany.com Reported - Frank Energy has launched a smart home battery management service in Spain, helping households save on electricity bills through automated management, and plans to capture 5% of the Spanish market for homes with energy assets within three years, with over 100,000 customers. The company also revealed that Spain's largest energy storage battery project is underway.

The company, which focuses on smart home energy management, has expanded its Smart Services platform by combining 100% renewable electricity supply with its proprietary technology. With the rapid growth of residential electrification, more households own solar panels, electric vehicles, or storage systems, but owning these assets does not guarantee higher economic benefits.
According to Frank Energy, home batteries without smart management could lose between €600 and €700 in potential savings annually. Most devices store solar energy during the day and use it at night, but cannot adjust operations based on hourly changes in the electricity market. Thomas Hulshof, founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Frank Energy, stated that batteries not responding to electricity market signals miss opportunities, and the company aims to go beyond traditional electricity marketing models to lead the smart home energy transition, allowing every device to automatically create value for customers.
Frank Energy uses its technology platform to monitor electricity prices hourly, learn each household's consumption patterns, and automatically adjust battery operations based on household needs and electricity market signals. The company claims that households in Spain equipped with a 20 kWh battery can save up to €2,000 annually through smart management, depending on the smart services used.
Jordi Jené, Country Manager of Frank Energy Spain, pointed out that Spain has favorable conditions for developing smart management models, including the expansion of self-consumption, growth in electric vehicles, increased home battery adoption, and growing interest in energy efficiency solutions. These factors, along with the power system's demand for flexible solutions, are accelerating the home energy transition.

Frank Energy has launched a platform in the Spanish market that can integrally manage major home energy assets, incorporating heat pumps into smart services to optimize solar installations and electric vehicle chargers. The company plans to capture a 5% share of the market for homes with installed energy assets (solar panels, batteries, heat pumps, or electric vehicles) within the next three years, and exceed 100,000 customers in Spain.
