en.Wedoany.com Reported - India's Premier Energies Ltd has commissioned a 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Seetharampur, Telangana, inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
With the new factory operational, Premier Energies' module manufacturing capacity has risen to 11.1 GW.
The new facility is equipped with advanced G12R TOPCon module production lines, India's first Zero Bus Bar manufacturing unit, an AGV-based automated material handling system, and an AI-driven quality inspection system. The automated production line can manufacture a solar module every four seconds while maintaining precision, consistency, and quality in mass production.
Surender Pal Singh Saluja, Chairman of Premier Energies, stated that the commissioning of the Seetharampur factory is the proudest milestone in the company's three-decade history, originating from a vision in 1995 and now evolving into one of India's leading integrated solar manufacturing platforms, reflecting a commitment to technology, manufacturing excellence, and India's clean energy future.
Sudhir Reddy, Director of Premier Energies, added that the Seetharampur factory is a key step in the company's strategy to build a more integrated, technology-driven clean energy manufacturing platform. Together with the upcoming BESS and aluminum frame factories, the entire park will enhance supply chain resilience and support India's transition to a self-reliant clean energy future. The company has also broken ground on a 6 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility and an aluminum frame manufacturing plant with an annual capacity of 18,000 metric tons. The Seetharampur manufacturing park, spanning 75 acres, is the latest addition to Premier Energies' manufacturing operations.
