en.Wedoany.com Reported - BB Energy has been awarded three additional crude oil cargoes by the Republic of South Sudan, with deliveries scheduled for August, September, and November 2026.

In return for securing these cargoes, BB Energy has agreed to relax existing restrictions that previously prevented South Sudan from accepting advance payments for crude oil cargoes. This relaxation will remain in effect until the end of November 2026.

Jas Grewall, Head of Business Development at BB Energy, expressed gratitude for the engagement with South Sudanese officials and looked forward to continuing this commercial relationship. Grewall stated, "We thank His Excellency Kuol Daniel Ayulo, Minister of Finance of South Sudan, His Excellency Malual Tap Dieu, First Deputy Minister of Finance, and His Excellency Dr. Santino Ayuel Longar, Deputy Minister of Petroleum, for their positive cooperation. We look forward to continuing the commercial relationship and fully resolving this matter."

BB Energy stated that through constructive discussions with South Sudan and other relevant market participants, multi-party legal issues have been resolved. These three cargoes will help reduce the outstanding debt owed to BB Energy. BB Energy and the Republic of South Sudan have also committed to negotiating the remaining balance in the coming months to reach a long-term solution.
