en.Wedoany.com Reported - Zhanjiang City in Guangdong Province has issued a public notice for competitive allocation of investment entities for offshore wind power projects, with two Beibu Gulf offshore wind projects totaling an installed capacity of 900 MW.
On July 13, the Zhanjiang Municipal Development and Reform Bureau issued a notice to carry out the competitive allocation of investment entities for the Zhanjiang Beibu Gulf YX01 offshore wind project (installed capacity of 300 MW) and the Zhanjiang Beibu Gulf YX02 offshore wind project (installed capacity of 600 MW).
According to the notice requirements, applicants must participate in the competitive allocation in the name of a group company (first-level company) or through a single subsidiary authorized in writing by the group company. Applicants must have a good credit record, not be listed as a seriously dishonest entity or a person subject to enforcement for dishonesty, and must not have experienced any major or above-level safety production accidents in projects constructed and operated within Guangdong Province in the past three years.
According to the work process, interested enterprises can apply for the competitive allocation documents from July 13 to 16, and the application materials must be submitted to the Zhanjiang Municipal Development and Reform Bureau before July 20. This competitive allocation is part of multiple batches of offshore wind competitive allocations recently launched in Guangdong Province. Prior to this, four cities in Guangdong Province had initiated competitive allocations for offshore wind power totaling 11.2 GW.
