en.Wedoany.com Reported - Honor will host a sub-forum titled "From Digital Screens to Embodied Intelligence — A New Paradigm for the Physical World" on July 18 during the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The agenda covers the evolution of Agentic OS, Honor's Robot Phone embodied intelligence practices, and demonstrations of new smart hardware. According to reports, Xu Zhuhong, Vice President of Alibaba Group and Head of Multimodal Interaction at the ATH Business Group's Token Foundry, will participate in the event, drawing attention to potential future cooperation between the two parties in the AI agent terminal field. As of July 14, Honor and Alibaba have not publicly released any new special cooperation agreements or specific product plans. Honor has officially confirmed that the forum will discuss the technical roadmap of Agentic OS around the theme "From Command to Autonomy," and will showcase Robot Phone, robots, and other new smart hardware on-site.

Honor and Alibaba already have a clear foundation for cooperation in the AI terminal field. In September 2025, the two parties formally signed an AI strategic cooperation agreement, covering areas such as the AI agent ecosystem, AI models and capabilities, and the internet service ecosystem. At the model level, the two parties are conducting joint development based on the Tongyi Qianwen open-source model, focusing on on-device models, AI agents, multimodal understanding and generation, and advancing the integration of models with Honor's terminal hardware, operating system, and application scenarios. In terms of the agent ecosystem, the two parties plan to connect services such as food delivery, performances, movies, office collaboration, and e-commerce shopping via the MCP protocol.

Some cooperation results have already been integrated into Honor terminals. The Honor Magic V5 previously incorporated the Tongyi Qianwen model, as well as AI agents from Alibaba's Amap and Fliggy. When users input travel or trip requests to Honor's AI assistant YOYO, the system can call upon the corresponding agents to perform information queries, route planning, destination recommendations, and some service operations. Tongyi Qianwen's document understanding and multimodal capabilities are also used for features such as "one-command screen query," document Q&A, and real-time image recognition, providing an existing product foundation for subsequently embedding agent capabilities into the operating system layer.

In June 2026, Honor systematically defined Agentic OS for the first time, summarizing its core capabilities as intent-driven, natural interaction, proactive intelligence, and cross-device collaboration. The system understands user intent through on-device and cloud-based large models, Magic GUI, the Magic Agent large model, and terminal sensors, decomposes tasks, and calls upon devices and services to complete multi-step operations. Honor plans to announce the complete technical framework of Agentic OS in July, with phased results subsequently implemented through MagicOS 11.

Based on the scope of cooperation already announced by both parties, Alibaba's Tongyi model, multimodal interaction capabilities, and life service agents can align with the Agentic OS that Honor is building: Honor is responsible for terminal perception, system scheduling, and cross-device execution, while Alibaba provides model capabilities and the service ecosystem. This direction represents an extension of publicly available cooperation content. Whether it will result in new joint products, technology platforms, or system-level interfaces remains to be confirmed by the July 18 forum and subsequent official announcements from both parties.
