en.Wedoany.com Reported - Zhelayevsk Grain Products Joint-Stock Company (АО «Желаевский комбинат хлебопродуктов», located in the West Kazakhstan Region) plans to build a fourth pasta factory. This was announced during a working visit to the region by Kazakhstan's Minister of Agriculture, Aidarbek Saparov.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, the new enterprise plans to install a modern high-temperature production line, which will help improve the level of deep grain processing and expand export capacity. The joint-stock company's current infrastructure includes silos with a total capacity of 150,000 tons, a modern flour milling complex, a rye flour mill, and three pasta factories equipped with modern Italian production lines. Its products are supplied to the domestic market and exported to countries such as Armenia, Afghanistan, Georgia, Russia, and Turkmenistan.
In 2025, the joint-stock company produced 51,500 tons of flour and 18,200 tons of pasta products, with current capacity utilization at 50%.
At the enterprise site, Saparov held a meeting with heads of grain receiving enterprises in the West Kazakhstan Region. During the meeting, the Minister stated that the task is not only to maintain production volumes but also to create high value-added products, enhance the competitiveness of domestic enterprises, and expand the geographic scope of exports. To achieve this, it is necessary to modernize production, effectively utilize existing capacities, and implement new investment projects. The Ministry of Agriculture will continue to provide comprehensive support to enterprises committed to developing the processing industry and strengthening national food security. The meeting also discussed preparations for receiving new grain at the silos and issues related to grain storage.
