en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Sichuan Provincial Government recently issued the "Approval on the Construction Land for the Aba Rongan Solar Project in Aba Prefecture" (Chuan Fu Tu [2026] No. 376), officially approving the construction land for the Aba Rongan Solar Project. The project is located in Rongan Township, Aba County, with the land area for two 220 kV booster stations covering 49.5 mu.

The Aba Rongan Solar Project is a key project newly started in Sichuan Province in 2026 and is also the largest solar project in terms of installed capacity by China Energy Investment Corporation within the province. The project has a total installed capacity of 1.15 million kilowatts, plans to construct 350 solar arrays, and covers a total land area of 27,000 mu. The project's average annual utilization hours are 1,538 hours, with an average annual power generation capacity of 1.768 billion kilowatt-hours. This project is a core supporting initiative for Aba Prefecture to advance the construction of a clean energy base integrating water, wind, and solar resources in the Dadu River Basin.

The Aba Prefecture Natural Resources Bureau stated that in the next step, it will strictly implement the requirements of the provincial government's approval, guide and supervise Aba County to carry out post-approval implementation work in a standardized manner, and strengthen full-process supervision of land use.
