Sihanoukville Port in Cambodia Launches Three New Maersk Cambodia Shipping Routes

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (Puerto Autónomo de Sihanoukville, PAS) held a welcome ceremony to receive the new vessels I88, I98, and SKV under Maersk (Cambodia) Ltd. The ceremony was presided over by Deputy General Manager for Operations, Thay Rithy, who represented the Royal Government of Cambodia and attended on behalf of His Excellency Lou Kim Chhun, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port. The ceremony took place in the meeting room and concluded at PAS's Container Terminal 6.

This ceremony marks new progress in the connectivity of maritime cargo transport at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, which will contribute to Cambodia's economic growth. Attendees included PAS management, immigration police from the Sihanoukville International Port Sub-Division, the Customs and Excise Sub-Division, as well as Maersk Cambodia Ltd., led by General Manager Rutger Jan Williem Heijsteeg, the pilot of the Maersk Namsos cargo vessel (hull number 625S), PAS staff, workers, and executives.
