en.Wedoany.com Reported - Nevada King Gold has received approval from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for the fifth and largest modification to the operating plan for its wholly owned Atlanta Gold Mine Project.

This approval adds 482 new drill sites, including 78 reverse circulation (RC) drill sites and 404 rotary air blast (RAB) drill sites, distributed across the company's 130-square-kilometer claim block. The new drill sites are primarily located in the Atlanta South, Silver Park, and Western Rim areas. Under the approval, the project's total new disturbance area is 21.1 acres, bringing the total disturbance area to 73.4 acres.
The company is also adding a third drill rig on site. The new RC rig will join the existing RC and RAB rigs, with the two RC rigs operating on a continuous two-shift schedule (12 hours per shift) to enhance drilling capacity. The company stated that this move aims to follow up on key mineralization targets and test extension areas across the project. RAB drilling is used to penetrate overburden and identify mineralization and pathfinder elements, and will be combined with RC drilling, which targets previously delineated zones.
Nevada King Gold reported that it is well-funded to complete its ongoing drilling campaign. The company holds approximately C$18.1 million (US$13 million) in cash and cash equivalents, which it says is sufficient to support its Phase 4, 40,000-meter RC drilling program. Approximately 12,000 meters of this program have been completed to date.
Nevada King Gold noted that this approval is based on a prior Notice of Intent for drilling at the Western Rim target, released in April 2026.
Nevada King Gold CEO John Sclodnick stated that the team is pleased to accelerate exploration in Atlanta as the company returns to several zones where gold and silver mineralization intercepts were encountered in previous drilling. He also noted that the company continues to benefit from its Nevada location, not only due to the region's mineral endowment but also because of the clear and predictable permitting pathway. He further emphasized that the fifth consecutive modification to the operating plan demonstrates this permitting efficiency and the trust-based relationship the company has built with regulators.
